Wash detergents handle road film. They do not handle a fifth wheel packed with years of grease, a frame misted in hydraulic fluid, or tar slung up a fender. That’s degreaser territory — and the water-vs-solvent choice decides whether the job works.
Electric trucks are arriving in fleets faster than wash programs are adapting to them. The vehicles bring a different washing problem: more sensors and cameras, exposed high-voltage connectors, battery enclosures, and mixed-metal construction — all of which make aggressive chemistry a liability rather than a shortcut.
